This week, Rush County became the 50th Indiana county to begin using JTAC’s Marriage License e-File system, developed in partnership with the Indiana State Department of Health and the Indiana State Library.
These 50 counties account for over 34% of all licenses issued statewide, and to date they have used the e-File system, which is part of the INcite portal, to file more than 19,700 marriage licenses electronically. That is 19,700 pieces of paper that don’t need to be mailed to and processed by the Indiana State Department of Health.
