On the evening of April 7th 2009, Floyd County Clerk Linda Moeller received 396 traffic tickets ready for processing. Ordinarily, 396 tickets would require 28 hours, or 4 days, to manually input into their computerized database. That’s roughly the same amount of time it would take for the Clerk to drive from New Albany, Indiana to Fargo, North Dakota and back.
Thanks to JTAC’s electronic Citation and Warning System and Odyssey, the Clerk’s Office received 396 traffic tickets with zero processing time. That’s 28 hours that office staff can devote to other tasks. That’s time, effort and money saved by everyone.
