Odyssey has reached more than 1,000 active users! The idea of a “user” doesn’t count the thousands of visitors among the general public using mycase.IN.gov, but rather the number of judges, clerks and other court staffers. When Hamilton County went live with Odyssey on Monday, it added more than 200 additional users to Odyssey.
When we talk about users, they’re two distinct types of users. One group is aptly called “Odyssey Users”, which encompasses court staff and judges. The other group is called “Secure Public Access Users”. These users can access information in Odyssey that is a little more robust than what’s offered to everyone for no charge at mycase.IN.gov. For instance, a typical secure user can see court schedules and birth dates for parties in a case. This is often used by people with an interest in court data and is a great way to keep information secure and provide it the people who need it most.
As always, mycase.IN.gov provides all non-sensitive information about all cases in counties using Odyssey at no charge.
