45 Counties Now Using Online Marriage License Application

Indiana Clerks received an update about the successful OMLA pilot on June 8th at their Annual Conference in Michigan City.  On Friday, June 10th, JTAC began receiving calls from Clerks interested in using this new time-saving program.  Forty-five counties that use the INcite Marriage License e-File program have added the ability for couples to enter their information online at courts.in.gov/marriage before arriving at their Clerk’s counter. This makes the visit to the courthouse much shorter and both couples and Clerks appreciate the convenience.

Seventy-four counties now use the INcite Marriage License application.  On July 1st, five new counties began to use JTAC’s Marriage License software.  These counties are Blackford, Hendricks, Howard, Jasper and Ripley counties, and they issued a total of 134 marriage licenses in their first two weeks using the program.
