On December 20, 2011, Deborah Webb, the Product Manager for the Courts & Justice Division of Tyler Technologies, travelled from Texas to Indiana to visit the Hamilton County Probation Department. The purpose of the visit was to witness firsthand how an Indiana Probation Department is using the Supervision module of the Odyssey Case Management System, in hopes of discovering new ways to improve the product. Dave Williams, a Probation Officer in Hamilton County, helped orchestrate the walkthrough visit and allowed Deborah to observe many of their different daily operations. JTAC was pleased to hear that some commonly requested items may soon become available with future releases of Odyssey, while others will be further analyzed by the development teams at Tyler Technologies.
