Odyssey Supervision in Cass County

On February 9th, the Cass County Juvenile Probation Department began using the Supervision module of the Odyssey Case Management System.  Training was completed over a three-day period and involved both instructional sessions and interactive practice exercises.  The probation staff has begun entering all of their active cases into the application and is now processing all juvenile intakes using the Referrals tab on the party record.  The class scheduling feature of Odyssey Supervision has been well received, and will allow them to manage the enrollment and attendance of at least six of the programs held at the Cass County Family Opportunity Center where the Cass County Juvenile Probation Department is located.  JTAC will continue working with the Cass County Juvenile Probation Department in the coming weeks as they prepare to begin using the financial component of Odyssey Supervision.  Thank you to Chief Probation OfficerBill Hiatt, and all of the staff at the Family Opportunity Center for their hard work and positive attitudes during this transition process.

JTAC will be working to implement Odyssey Supervision with the LaPorte County Adult Probation Department and the Scott County Probation Department in the near future.
