JTAC’s conversion team will be pushing legacy data into Odyssey for the Carmel City Court this weekend.  Access to Odyssey will be interrupted temporarily while the data conversion scripts run.  This does affect Odyssey Public Access.

Carmel City will be live on Odyssey Monday morning, November 23^rd .  Judge Poindexter anticipates that the court records will be available on Odyssey Public Access beginning January 4^th, 2010!

A new release of Odyssey will be implemented this Friday evening (May 1) after hours.  As a result, the system will not be available this weekend.  Public Access will also be off-line while the release is being loaded.

It should also be noted that the new release will cause the application to run somewhat slower on Monday, May 4.

We discovered a hiccup in the Public Access website recently, so please help us get the word out.

If a case is manually created within Odyssey (where the case number is entered by the user instead of automatically generated), it is important that the user INCLUDE THE DASHES using the following format (per Administrative Rule 8):

53C01-0808-MI-12345

If the dashes are not included, then the case can only be found on a Public Access search if the searcher includes the dashes in the case number.
