JTAC’s goal for 2012 was to have a total of 300 law enforcement agencies trained on the electronic Citation and Warning System (eCWS) by year-end. The news is even better. JTAC actually surpassed that number, and a total of 304 law enforcement agencies were trained by December 31, 2012.
JTAC is on track to complete eCWS (electronic Citation and Warning System or e-tickets) training for over 300 law enforcement agencies by the end of 2012! To date, 62 sheriff’s departments, 225 local agencies and 3 state agencies are utilizing eCWS.
On May 1st, 2012, Beech Grove City and Lawrenceburg City implemented the Odyssey case management system for their courts.
On April 9th, the Office of the Circuit Court Clerk and the three courts in Jackson County went live on the Odyssey case management system. On that same day, the Honorable Linda Wilcox, Judge of the Union City City Court in Randolph County, also began using the data sharing software.
JTAC has just made available to all law enforcement agencies throughout the State eCWS v3.0! eCWS v3.0 brings two major improvements for law enforcement to the e-ticket system and includes an enhancement for court users.
