Odyssey Updates

JTAC was host to the meeting of the Marion County Small Claims Court judges last Friday. This was one of many meetings to plan deployment of Odyssey to Marion County Small Claims Courts. The judges are working with JTAC to streamline and standardize as many court processes as possible. These improvements will benefit both the courts and the public. ODYSSEY On The Move

JTAC staff is out in the field as counties prepare to use Odyssey, the new statewide case management system. Training has begun in DeKalb County which will be one of the next to launch the system. JTAC staff also visited Plainfield Town Court to prepare for the first pilot in a city/town court.

Part of the launch process in all counties includes reviewing court and clerk staff procedures and determining what data can be transferred from existing legacy systems. JTAC is preparing court data from Harrison County that will be added to Odyssey at Harrison County go-live.

Odyssey Users Set New Record

The number of unique users logging onto the Odyssey Case Management System to check court records set a new record in October 2008 – 7,608 – an average of 245 different users every day of the month.

New Odyssey Courts; Case Information Online

The Odyssey Case Management System has been installed in a number of new courts in recent months!  As a result, case information from Tipton and Warren Counties and the Center Township Small Claims Court (Marion County) is now accessible through the Odyssey public access website, which can be accessed from courts.IN.gov.

Case information from all Monroe County Courts and Washington Township Small Claims Court, Marion County has been available since December 2007. The Odyssey system will be installed in courts statewide over the next 3-5 years.
